Filmproject Yellow Barrel
One last project, a group of students and a dream.
This was the largest project I was part of during my apprenticeship, taking months of careful story-writing, scripting, filming and postproduction in our 4th and final year.
I was able to join the group after they’ve done the story-writing and was with them through the process of visualizing, filming, improvising on set, acting and part of postproduction, as well as the person in charge of behind-the-scenes footage.
Down below are parts of the storyboard I’ve drawn for the visualization of the story.
VA Filmproject: Discrimination
Part of our final grade was the VA (Vertiefungsarbeit), which my friend and I made about discrimination of women and queer people alike, studying the differences and similarities.
Part of it is filmed, part of it was drawn and later animated in adobe after effects. This was our final product after finishing the literary part.
Animation Project: Falcon in the Wind
In my second year of my apprenticeship we were learning the basics of animation in After Effects or similar programs.
Since I already knew some basics, I challanged myself to 40 seconds of completely hand-drawn animation in the illustration program Krita.
Through this first touchpoint with handdrawn animation I can now create complex animations, all with the power of my imagination.
Video Project: Aftermovie Mustang & Shelby Meeting Zug
Video Project: Brainsparks
As my friend entered the 4th year of their apprenticeship, they also stoof before the challange of a short film. I offered to help produce it and help them out behind the scenes.
In this film I helped with scripting, small camera work, setdressing, behind the scenes, audio on set and postproduction of the behind the scenes video. I was also one of the actors in the film, with a smaller role as the only other character.
